The Stone

Oval Mookaite — golden yellow and red with crack-like details, 1.75" × 1". This stone arrived already telling its story. The crack is not a flaw. It is evidence of what it survived. It is the most honest thing about it.

The Rune: Nauthiz ᚾ

Nauthiz was chosen for this piece because it tells the truth about hard times. It is the rune of necessity-  of the friction that forges, the fire that does not destroy but transforms. Nauthiz does not promise ease. It promises that the difficulty is not without purpose. That what you are moving through is making you into something.

Hand-sawed into the copper backplate- hidden from the world, known only to you- Nauthiz holds you in the fire. Always present. Always working.
