This is me - exactly as I am when I'm forging your talisman.

The Origin

My name is Jessica Nicole. This work was born from the quiet spaces between loss and healing; a practice shaped by grief, resilience, and the slow, fierce return to self.

In the span of a few years, my world shifted completely. I lost my sister Kat, moved away from family right before the pandemic, and graduated from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design in Metalsmithing- all while working full-time, carrying grief, and quietly searching for my own voice through my European and Mohawk heritage. One month after graduating, I became a mother. Shortly after, I was laid off.

Instead of fear, I felt clarity. It was time to step into my craft on my own terms.

Reclaiming My Voice & Magic

For a long time, I stayed silent, navigating self-doubt and feeling like an imposter while unearthing where I fit. But stepping out of the shadows and embracing my neurodivergent mind didn't weaken my craft- it unlocked it.

I am a history buff, an earthly practitioner, and a slow-craft metalsmith forging raw metal and stone into living spells in Lincoln, Ontario. My process isn't born from rigid assembly lines; it lives in deep sensory connection. I feel most grounded in quiet, everyday moments; bare feet on cold soil, the warmth of tending home, and truly listening to what is around me.

How the Work is Forged

At Jewellery by JN, that presence translates directly to the anvil. Guided by ritual, ancestral memory, and lunar cycles, we hand-forge talismans, pendants, earrings, and bracelets.

Whether through ready-to-wear collections, like our Wordkeeper, New Moon, and Stonekeeper series or fully custom pieces co-created to honour your exact intentions, every piece is made with up-cycled materials, spiritually blessed before shipping, and packaged with ritual care.

We craft wearable rituals and vessels for transformation, because how something is made matters just as much as what it becomes.
