Meet Jessica, the Hands and Heart Behind the Work

Jeweller by JN was born from the quiet, alchemical spaces between loss and healing- a practice shaped by the cycles of grief, remembrance, and slow return to self. My name is Jessica Nicole, metalsmith, artist, and founder, and every piece I create is rooted in ritual and story.
This journey began not as a business, but as a lifeline: shaping metal, setting stones, and carving symbols became a way to process the rawness of emotion after losing my sister Kat, and to honour the tangled threads of my own heritage- European and Mohawk, woven together through memory and longing. The studio became my sanctuary, a place for spellwork in metal, where each talisman was forged with the intention to hold stories, mark thresholds, and remind us of the light we carry, even in the in-between.
I work from my garage studio in Lincoln, Ontario, guided by slowness and reverence. Each piece is slow-made, blessed, and energetically cleared before it leaves my hands- crafted as a gentle anchor for those seeking meaning, transformation, or a moment of pause in the rush of everyday life.
Jewellery by JN is not fast fashion or mass production. It’s adornment as ritual, as remembrance, as spell. My materials are chosen with care and consciousness; sterling silver, upcycled metals, semi-precious stones sourced from Canadian suppliers, and packaging that honours the earth.
I believe in soulful adornment: jewellery that feels like a deep breath, a grounding ritual, a reminder that you are held and seen. Each collection is inspired by the cycles of the moon, ancestral memory, and the wild-hearted women who wear these pieces as talismans for their own journeys.
Thank you for being here- for supporting slow craft, for honouring story, and for allowing my work to become part of your ritual.
With gratitude and magick,

Jessica Nicole

That’s when I understood:

I’m not just a metalsmith.

I’m a Stonekeeper.

Jewellery by JN was never about fashion.

It was a sacred return; to craft, to ancestry, to truth.
