The stone is a teardrop of forest green, deep and steady, like a pond at the end of summer. Aventurine is traditionally a stone of opportunity, long carried for luck and steady good fortune.

The Bearing sets it in a copper crown, an intricate gallery of tiny points shaped and fitted by hand, resting on a brass teardrop plate. Two sterling silver links join the plate to the band, and small brass sleeves hold the wires where they meet the silver. The band itself is two open brass wires, joined by a single small cross-bar, so it wears with ease and lets the stone take the light.

You will see it every time your hands do something. Typing. Pouring coffee. Holding a child's hand.

For the woman who knows that real strength is steady and rooted, and who carries what is hers with her head high.

The Magic Within

A teardrop is a shape that is carried. Rain, release, the dew that gathers before dawn. I chose it for the Threshold Collection because crossing from one season into the next asks us to let go of what is finished... and to stand firm in who we are while we do.

Green aventurine is traditionally associated with opportunity and heart-centred growth. I think of it as the stone of the first step, worn here at your wrist, where your pulse is.

Copper is the metal of conduction. It carries current, warmth and intention, and here it crowns the stone, so that what you hope for has somewhere to move.

Brass is the earth beneath it, steady and warm, the body of the whole piece. Rooted metal for a rooted woman.

Sterling silver is intuition, the light of the moon. It is the part that joins the stone to the band, and I like that. Your inner knowing is what connects what you carry to who you are becoming.
