My hands have always known stones, texture especially, and colour.
Creativity has always lived in me.
As a child, I collected rocks (I still have that precious collection). Painting, drawing, sewing, and eventually beadwork came later. I built with anything textured. I didn’t know why, it just felt instinctual.
Years later, during the grief and exhaustion of early motherhood, I found myself reaching for those same materials again.
It wasn’t a hobby- it was medicine.
Beading gave me space to breathe, to process, and to return to myself in the quiet.
But it was the stones that brought me back.
And the metal? That fueled my fire.
They weren’t just beautiful- they spoke. They held energy, memory, and messages. They guided my hands, revealed their own designs, and offered strength.
That’s when I realized I wasn’t just creating, I was keeping.
Holding space for each stone’s purpose to meet the woman who needed it most.
